Over the course of three decades, many of us have undergone a metamorphic change in our lives and careers with the advent of new technologies and cultural paradigms.

Far are the days when we started playing with Commodore 64 and Atari 800, or perhaps doing something more productive with a more sophisticated personal computer like AT 80286. Back then, some of us even ventured to explore the intricacies of D.O.S, WordStar and wrote our first programs using Basic language. Those memorable days are far behind, though the thirst for challenge is still latent.

However, like for many young people, life takes different turns. Some of us pursued formal education in fields related to International Business and Marketing while continued learning about hardware and software. Others decided to explore other fields that may or may not be as challenging and competitive as the IT industry.

It wasn’t until my late teenage days during college that I finally had a chance to really experience this magical world of reality and fiction called the Internet. Without knowing it, I embarked myself in a never ending trip. A trip driven by love and passion for research, multilingual people and diverse cultures that now has brought me to this pit stop called SpanishSEO.org.

Essentially, SpanishSEO is a place where ideas can be incubated, concepts explored and new theories develop or discarded. A place where no one is wrong; but everybody is rightfully paying the price to success. A place where entrepreneurs are born and reborn day after day. A pit stop that hopefully will serve of inspiration and provide us with enough energy to continue with the trip to the next level.

But what is the main focus of our bilingual site?

In few words, the main focus is to become the liaison between multicultural worlds where Spanish, English and Spanglish are predominantly spoken, and help with the creation, dissemination and promotion of ideas related to Web Globalization (g11n), International Search Engine Optimization and Global e-Commerce.

Our energy will be focused on providing quality and practical information about Internationalization (i18n), Localization (L10n) and translation to anyone interested in these topics.

Even though our knowledge and experience are derived from the years of exposure to the U.S. Hispanic and Latino population, we would also like to extend our coverage to Latin American and Spain. Therefore, you can rest assured that we’ll do our best to deliver the latest news from the interned associated to the Spanish speaking population.

And if that is not enough, we may also cover matters pertaining to Social Media Optimization, interviews with personalities, and of course our personal opinion. As we say in Spanish, this site will have “De todo un poco como en bodega” (a bit of everything like in a convenient store).
